HKS Turbo exhaust systems are engineered to meet the specific requirements of turbocharged engines. Exhaust gases that cannot efficiently escape, create unwanted thermal pressure that limits turbo boost pressure and often leads to engine detonation. By reducing this back pressure and associated heat, turbo systems immediately gain boost pressure, which translates into additional horsepower. All HKS Turbo exhaust systems feature a straight-through muffler design using a perforated tube surrounded by nickel mesh or stainless steel wool, and fiberglass sound deadening material for minimal backpressure and an aggressive, yet non-offensive exhaust note.
